Sunnah and Hadith

Sunnah is the actions done by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Sunnah is the foundations of traditional law of livings. Sunnat-ul-Qual means the word spoken by Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Sunnat-ul-Fail means the actions conducted by Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Sunnat ul Tahrir means silent or refrained from commenting on certain actions or statement.

Collection of Hadith

Ahadis is the plural form of Arabic word hadith. The companion records the sayings of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Hadith is the detailed version, so we may implement into our lifes. There is more than 10 million Ahadith.

Sahih al Buhari has written more than 7,000 hadiths over a span of sixteen years. Sahih muslim holds 4,000 hadiths with strong chains of transmission. Sunan Abu Dawood has written 4,800 hadiths which is related to (Fiqh). Sunan al Tirmidhi has critically analyzed more than 4,000 hadith.
