Chess in Islam

 If chess is played as a gambling in which the losing side have to pay money is prohibited. Someone may waste time playing hours is undesirable. The chess piece such as the king and queen are shaped in an undesirable manner.

Chess is actually a board game with multiple players. Rules are set to play the game in which the king has to be protected at all cost. The knight moves are very unique and queen plays very important part as it contains most of the moves.

Every game or activity which wastes your time is haram. Gambling in any form is not permissible in Islam. Chess is one of the oldest game in the world. After time passes, the rules of the chess start changing.
